This was a challenging year for the instructors at Hopkinton Center for the Arts. Teaching in the arts went from being hands on, to virtual, and in person with lots of adjustments to be made. The teachers had to adapt to what seemed like impossible circumstances. Yet they found ways to stay connected. They hustled all year to give the community art, music, and dance despite impossible odds.

Cheryl Melody Baskin’s latest book, Peace Dreamer: A Journey of Hope in Bad Times and Good was written from the part of her soul that believes in the goodness of people. Baskin states, “I am here to feed the inner spirit with hope, grand dreams, idealism and optimism and to encourage each person to never give up on themselves or on the world, no matter how messy life becomes.”

Foundation for MetroWest Supports Arts & Culture in Hopkinton Hopkinton Center for the Arts Beneficiary of $25,000 Award

Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) is pleased to announce it is the recipient of a $25,000 grant from the Foundation for MetroWest. The generous grant from the Arts & Culture Grant Program will help support the expansion of the HCA's mission with the addition of a development director, a position designed to address the organization’s philanthropic needs.
