The 3rd annual Blooms, Brews and BBQ event will take place at Weston Nurseries in Hopkinton on September 7th from 11am until 7pm. The event features entertainment, several food and beer vendors and has fun activities for all ages. -The Planning Board is looking for someone to fill a vacancy on the board. the term would last until the may 2020 election. Those interested should be a registered voter in Hopkinton and apply online by Tuesday august 27th. you can find more details on our website.

-Greyhound Friends recently released a press release stating that they were approved by the town for a kennel license. Greyhound Friends still has to be approved by the State to officially open. The facility is under new leadership.

Greyhound Friends, Inc., a greyhound adoption shelter based in Hopkinton, MA, is pleased to announce that it has been approved for a new kennel license following a 2-year hiatus. Closed for adoptions in 2017, the organization is preparing to relaunch in 2019 with new leadership at the helm.

Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce Urges Support

Annual Town Election will be held next Monday, May 20, 2019, with polls opening at 7 am at Hopkinton Middle School. Four Ballot Questions, each of which received Town Meeting approval, will be on the Annual Town Election Ballot. While all of the questions are important, the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is particularly interested in:

Questions 3 and 4, which deal with much-needed downtown parking, especially considering the upcoming Downtown Corridor Project that is expected to begin next Spring and last 2 consecutive construction seasons.
