Board of Governors. " We applaud the decision and wish Jack much success" according to Tim Kilduff, President of the 26.2 Foundation. "The right person at the right time", he added.

The Hoyt Foundation has been selected as a beneficiary of the Shaw’s GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program for the month of December.

The Shaw’s GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program, which launched in March 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

26.2 Foundation: Bibs for Boston Marathon Available

The 26.2 Foundation has a limited number of invitational entries available to runners with their sights set on the 127th Boston Marathon, scheduled for April 17, 2023.

Team Inspire members get access to training support, weekly group runs (local to Boston), fundraising support through a customizable fundraising platform, and Team Inspire apparel -- not to mention a community of like-minded runners for support when needed.

2023 Boston Marathon Invitational Entry Program Policy Adopted by the Select Board, October 11, 2022

Pursuant Section 2 of the Hopkinton Marathon Policy, the Select Board will distribute invitational applications for the upcoming 2023 Boston Marathon in the following manner.

Invitational entry applications will be distributed to qualified organizations through a random selection that will take place at a duly constituted public meeting. In order to qualify for the random selection, an organization must fit one of two category descriptions outlined in the Town’s Marathon Policy, namely:

Baypath partners with Banfield

Baypath is very happy to announce announce our new partnership with the Banfield Foundation® and the receipt of grant support which will enable us to purchase medical equipment for our staff to use and help diagnose medical issues quicker. Baypath, as are so many other shelters, are finding it challenging to get in to a veterinarian’s office with this medical In-House Diagnostic Kit it will help us to triage animals more quickly and make an educated decision on necessary care for that animal and hopefully save unnecessary visits to the veterinarians office.

Hopkinton Library News October 2022

October is Global Diversity Awareness Month and the Hopkinton Library is celebrating cultural diversity with many different displays and programs for all ages. In addition to displays on “Own Voices: The American Immigrant Experience,” “German Heritage” and “Italian Heritage,” adults can participate in our monthly take-and-make, which in October, will be an origami star. Children can participate in a scavenger hunt that highlights the different diverse books in our collection.
