Volunteers Needed for 300th Celebration Weekend

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HOPKINTON!

The 300th Anniversary Committee is throwing a birthday party for the town on September 12-13, 2015. We have food, music, entertainment, FIREWORKS and a PARADE, but WE NEED YOU!

Please volunteer to help us on the day of the events. You can help on Saturday, September 12 at “Light up the Night” or on Sunday, September 13 at the parade. We need help with parking, event set up and clean up, and other general support.

All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and reserved parking.

The "Dirty Divas" win Hopkinton Women's Softball League Championship

The championship game of the Parks and Rec Hopkinton Women's Softball league took place Wednesday night (September 2nd) at Carrigan Field. The league plays from June through September. The championship was won by the Red Team a.k.a. "The Dirty Divas" led by Kristy Willadsen finished with a record of 11 and 0 for the season. The green team led by Kate Hayward came in 2nd place.

Hopkinton Garden Club invites you to visit them at Polyarts

The Hopkinton Garden Club will have a booth at the Hopkinton Polyarts Fair on Saturday, September 12th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Town Common. To enhance your fall garden, we’re offering glass flower decorative art as well as beautiful mums. We’re also having a bake sale. While you’re enjoying a sweet treat, find out more about the Hopkinton Garden Club. We encourage community spirit through town beautification and look forward to sharing our enthusiasm about gardening.

Under federal and state special education regulations, Hopkinton Public Schools has a duty to locate, identify, refer, evaluate and, if eligible, provide a free, appropriate public education to students with disabilities who reside in the town of Hopkinton. Town of Hopkinton Seeks a Part-Time (16 hour) Dishwasher/ Kitchen Worker for the Senior Center

Do you enjoy working with the seniors? Would you like to work in a very friendly and welcoming environment?

Under the general supervision of the Senior Center Director, the Dishwasher/Kitchen Worker will be responsible for cleaning all dishes, cooking utensils, and equipment; kitchen maintenance and support services in the provision of meals for the Town's Senior Center programming. Hours may vary but are generally between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

2015 Hopkinton Fire Station Open House

The Hopkinton Fire Department will open their station to the public on October 4th for their Annual Open House. The event at Fire Headquarters will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Residents and children will have the opportunity to view demonstrations, learn about fire safety, and tour the station. Refreshments will be provided and Sparky the dog is expected to make an appearance.
