Community Notice: Fire Flow Test Rescheduled to June 20th

Please be advised that do to a technical issue today’s required fire flow test will now take place tomorrow, 6/20/2019 on Hayden Rowe, at approximately 9:00 AM . Because these tests will take place on main transmission lines, customers may notice some discoloration during and after the tests throughout town. Please avoid doing any laundry, dishwasher loads or other water use activities, during this time. Any discoloration that may occur will eventually dissipate. Please check you water before using it.

Roadwork Notice: Summer 2019

Roadwork is scheduled to begin on the following streets. All work is weather pending and dates may need to be moved forward as needed. Work hours will be approximately 7am-5pm.

Hopkinton Roadwork Notice 6-17-2019

In preparation for upcoming roadwork a contractor working for the Town of Hopkinton will be adjusting sidewalk ramps on the following streets.
Chestnut St @ Wild Rd, Pheasant Hill Rd, Partridge Rd, Ray St and Wildlife Dr.

Work is scheduled to begin on June 19 - June 28. Should there be rain days during this time the work will go into the following week.
One lane of traffic will be open at all times.

Community Notice: Fire Flow Test to Take Place Wednesday, June 19th

Please be advised that a required fire flow test will take place next week on Hayden Rowe, on Wednesday, June 19th, at approximately 9:00 AM . Because these tests will take place on main transmission lines, customers may notice some discoloration during and after the tests throughout town. Please avoid doing any laundry, dishwasher loads or other water use activities, during this time. Any discoloration that may occur will eventually dissipate. Please check you water before using it. You may need to run your cold water line to clear your internal pipes after the test is complete.

Legislature Advances Fair Share Act

During a constitutional convention this week, the Massachusetts Legislature voted to amend the Massachusetts Constitution to place an additional 4 percent tax on annual taxable income in excess of $1 million to generate revenues for transportation and educational investments.

The revenue generated – estimated by the Department of Revenue as much as $2.2 billion annually, would fund repair and maintenance projects for roads, bridges or public transportation as well as funding for public education.
