Mental Health Essentials for Parents & Caregivers

This educational programming will teach you the four components of mental health literacy: decreasing stigma, understanding mental illnesses and their treatments, obtaining and maintaining positive mental health, and knowing when, where, and how to access treatment. This program will be delivered by Mental Health Collaborative and sponsored by Hopkinton Youth & Family Services.

The program will be September 19th, 2023 from 7:00pm-8:30pm at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, 98 Hayden Rowe Street

Hopkinton Fire Department Announces Smoke Alarm Installation Program

The Hopkinton Fire Department, in collaboration with a generous grant awarded by FM Global, is proud to offer the free installation of smoke alarms to Hopkinton residents in need. Per the National Fire Protection Association “Smoke alarms that are properly installed and maintained play a vital role in reducing fire deaths and injuries.

HOP Youth Coalition hosting a Youth Leadership, Advocacy, and Resiliency training at the Town Hall

On Tuesday August 8th and Thursday, August 10th, the HOP Youth Coalition will be hosting a Youth Leadership, Advocacy, and Resiliency training at the Town Hall. This event is free and dinner will be provided both nights.

Against the Tide Athletic Events to Support Breast Cancer Prevention In-Person and Virtual

Join Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) in person at DCR’s Hopkinton State Park in Hopkinton, MA for its 31st Against the Tide on Saturday, June 17th! Later in the summer, MBCC will host Against the Tide in person at DCR’s Nickerson State Park in Brewster, MA on Saturday, August 12th for the 24th year!

The morning-only in-person events include 1-mile recreational and competitive swims, a USMS-Sanctioned 1-mile swim, a ½-mile recreational swim, a 3-mile fitness walk, and USATF-Certified 5K and 10K runs.
