Weston Nurseries hosted their annual Blooms, Brews and BBQ event featuring food and beverages from local establishments and great local music.
All proceeds benefit the Jimmy Fund walk in the effort to fight cancer. Weston Nurseries has been helping the Jimmy Fund for several years.

Hopkinton Soccer, collectively Hopkinton Youth Soccer, HHS Boys Soccer and HHS Girls Soccer, have teamed together to Kick Cancer in 2022. Kick Cancer 2022 aspires to build awareness and raise funds in support of Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research.
The American Cancer Society estimates in the USA for 2022 are:
● About 287,850 new cases of invasive case of breast cancer
● About 43,250 women will die from breast cancer
● About 19,880 new diagnosis of ovarian cancer
● About 12,810 women will die from ovarian cancer
The Hopkinton Health Department is hosting their Second Annual Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on the Town Common.
Police Chief Joseph Bennett, Fire Chief William Miller and Hopkinton Youth & Family Services Director Dawn Alcott wish to share information regarding the new National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number, 988, which took effect on Saturday, July 16.
The 988 dialing code is the new national number routing callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline across the U.S. The new phone line is accessible 24/7/365 by call or text.
Chief William Miller and the Hopkinton Fire Department would like to remind residents to take safety precautions during activities during hot weather, especially those that take place outdoors.
Extreme heat is a prolonged period of very hot weather, which may include high humidity. In Massachusetts, a “heat wave” is usually defined as a period of three or more consecutive days above 90 degrees. Temperatures are currently forecast to be in the 90s Tuesday-Sunday.
A heat advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Today is an extremely dark day for America, as we face what can only be called a ‘nightmare scenario’ for women and those who can get pregnant across this nation. It is important to stress that abortion remains and will remain legal in Massachusetts. This fundamental right to health care is here to stay in the Commonwealth, and I will fight every day to strengthen and protect it.
The Health department is hosting a Pfizer pediatric booster clinic at Town Hall in the Nurse's office on Tuesday June 21st 3:30pm-5:30pm.
