Eileen Fredette, 78

Eileen Fredette, 78, died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was the widow of the late Henry (Hank) Fredette who died in 2005. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Horan) McDonough.

She worked at Valpey Fisher in Hopkinton and then as a care coordinator for the Metrowest VNA. She loved to vacation and take trips with her friends as well as playing cards. You could always find her at her grandkids’ sporting events.

Jeanne L. (McHatton) Arbour, 89

Jeanne L. (McHatton) Arbour, 89, of Port Richey, FL, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017.
Jeanne was born in Massachusetts on March 1, 1928 and graduated from Hopkinton High School in 1946.
She married soon after and moved to Florida in June 1957.
Jeanne was daughter of the late Nathan and Florence (Mercier) McHatton.
Preceded in death by siblings: Francis, George, Florence Freeman, Mary Briggs,
Rita Kruger, Helen Arcudi, Josephine Hill Pedato, and by her husband, Laurence in 2004.

Jean F. Robertson, 89

Jean F. Robertson, 89, of Hopkinton, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Nelson) and Charles Robertson.

Jean had been the Vice President of the Hopkinton Class of 1946 and upon her graduation worked as a bank teller at Framingham Trust Company. She enjoyed dancing throughout her life and when she was able, was an avid skier.

Helen A. (Smith) O’Brien, 88

Helen A. (Smith) O’Brien, 88, died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Beaumont Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough. She was the widow of John A. O’Brien, who died in 1993.

Born in Grafton, she was the daughter of the late William and Ellen (Cronin) Smith. She graduated from St. Stephen's High School in Worcester, then from Lesley College in Cambridge and worked as an elementary school teacher in Hopkinton for 35 years.

She is survived by many cousins and predeceased by her sister, Maureen Smith, who died in 2002.

Thomas M. Kinzler, Sr., Hopkinton

Thomas M. Kinzler, Sr., of Hopkinton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, surrounded by his family, after a four-year battle with cancer. He is the beloved husband of 35 years to Margaret “Peggy” (Savoy) Kinzler.

Thomas Kinzler was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and is the son of Margaret (Bradburn) of Pittsburgh, PA, and the late Ralph Kinzler, Sr. He was raised and educated in Pittsburgh, PA.

Michael J. Mantenuto, 35

Michael J. Mantenuto, 35, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. Born in Natick, MA, he was the son of Kerry Barton Lee of Lunenburg, MA and formerly Hopkinton, MA and Edward Mantenuto of Holliston, MA and was married to Kati Vienneau of Fort Lewis, WA and Medford, MA. They had two children Ava and Leo. Michael is survived by three sisters, and their families; Katie Mantenuto and Will Thomas, and son Andrew of Lunenburg, Meggan Mantenuto Hope, Dave Hope and their children Lily and Landon, and Lauren Mantenuto of Boulder, CO.

Thomas McIntyre, 62, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Fahey), whom he married in 1986. Loving father of Thomas and his fiancée Madeline Mylett of Boston, and of Kelli and her fiancé Paul Mylett of Hopkinton. Born to the late Charles and Beverly (Welch) McIntyre of Hopkinton, on December 16, 1954. Brother of Charles and his wife Patricia of Indianapolis and of Daniel and his wife Eileen of Hopkinton.

Sadie E. Benson, 91

Sadie E. Benson, 91, of Hopkinton, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Jane (Robson) and Oscar Riedle. She was the wife of the late Estley M. Benson who passed away in 2002.

A lifelong Hopkinton resident, Sadie was an active member of Faith Community Church in Hopkinton and was a member of the former Joy Fellowship group. She was also active with the Milford Pine Street Baptist Church Women’s Group. She enjoyed time spent at the Hopkinton Senior Center.

Rosalie R. Martin, 77

Rosalie R. Martin, 77, of Hopkinton, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 2, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. Predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, Paul A Martin, her mother Frances (Godsell) Kelly, father Thomas Seward, step father James Kelly and two siblings, Frances Dion and James Seward.
