Hopkinton Education Foundation Accepting Marathon Applications

The 119th Boston Marathon will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015. The Hopkinton Education Foundation has submitted applications for charity numbers and hope to have runners participate on behalf of the Education Foundation again during the Marathon. Completed applications must be sent to Sherry Grady.

Local Thanksgiving Football Recap

Hopkinton and Ashland had a defensive battle in their 91st meeting. With 7 minutes left in the game, Pat Ryan to Matt Decina was the lone Hillers touchdown reception. Hopkinton pulled off the victory with a last second 32 yard field goal from Adam Giodarno to take the game 9-7. Overall The Hopkinton Hillers are 49-37 and have 5 ties against the Ashland Clockers. Hillers finish the season 5 and 6 while Ashland finishes 6 and 5.

The Hopkinton Hiller Cheerleaders (HHS) continue the tradition of being one of the premier cheerleading squads in the state. After winning the Tri-Valley League Championship, HHS moved on to the South Regional Cheerleading Competition held at Whitman-Hanson High School on November 16th. There, they competed against twelve other teams in Division 2 and came in second place with a nearly flawless performance; missing the top spot by a mere 2 points.

Hopkinton Hillers Kickoff -- 7p.m. Friday

The Hillers Varsity Football team will take on Oliver Ames High School of North Easton, Mass. on Fri., Nov.14 at 7 p.m. at David M. Hughes Stadium in Hopkinton. Don’t miss one minute of exciting Hiller action! Bring the family and enjoy a game under the lights. The Hopkinton High School Athletics Boosters will have the doghouse well stocked with plenty of hot chocolate, popcorn and other delicious treats popular with the fans. After this, next Hiller game is Thanksgiving Day – this year in Ashland.

The #8th ranked Hopkinton Hillers took on the #1 Ranked Notre Dame of Hingham Cougars at Canton High School in the State Semi-Finals. Hopkinton pulled off the sweep winning Game 1 (25-22), Game 2 (25-8), Game 3 (25-23).
