What a game we got to watch on Sunday! The New England Patriots faced off against the Denver Broncos in a very cold Denver environment on Sunday night. The last time these two teams met in Denver, the Patriots lost a heartbreaker to the Broncos in overtime. Hoping to get revenge after that meeting, the Patriots came out firing in the first quarter. The special teams play during this quarter was phenomenal. The Patriots were able to recover a muffed punt by the Broncos punt returner and cashed it in with a touchdown reception by #34 Rex Burkhead by QB Tom Brady.

What a game we had on Sunday!

The New England Patriots faced off against the Los Angeles Chargers in a soaked Gillette Stadium. The Patriots won 21-13 in decisive fashion. QB Tom Brady had yet another standout game, throwing for 333 yards and a touchdown to TE Rob Gronkowski in the first quarter. The touchdown marked the 72nd time the two have connected for a score and it is the most TDs among any NFL duo since 2010. The Player of the Game for the Patriots, however, was kicker Stephen Gostkowski, who successfully made 4 field goals while playing in the elements.

What a great day to be a Bostonian! The 121st Boston Marathon took place today and it was certainly one to remember. The first winners to cross the finish line did so in record-breaking fashion. For the men's wheelchair race, in yet another close finish, Marcel Hug edged his long time rival, Ernst van Dyk for the victory. This victory gave Hug his third straight wheelchair title in the Boston Marathon. Hug, a 31-year-old Swiss native, set a Boston marathon record, finishing in 1:18:03.

It does not get any better than this: Super Bowl LI! The New England Patriots will play the Atlanta Falcons in Houston at 6:30 pm today. Yesterday it was announced that QB Matt Ryan, of the Atlanta Falcons, won the Most Valuable Player at the 6th annual NFL Honors. Ryan is very deserving of this honor as he has had the best season of his career, throwing for nearly 5,000 yards and 38 touchdowns. The Atlanta Falcons in all have a complete and versatile team with so many astute players on both sides of the ball.

Fasten your seat belt folks! The New England Patriots will play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at 6:40 pm in Gillette Stadium. The Patriots are coming off a tough win against the Houston Texans while the Steelers won a thriller against the Kansas City Chiefs. This game will feature 2 teams that have top 5 defenses and offenses squaring off against each other. The Killer B's (Ben, Brown, and Bell) have been unstoppable in the final few games of the season while the Patriots have relied on Tom Brady to lead their offense.

Patriots vs Browns Recap

To all the critics who thought Tom Brady would be rusty in his season opener, how you like 'dem apples! Brady put on a clinic against the winless Cleveland Browns, throwing for 406 yards and 3 touchdowns. It seemed every time we looked, the Patriots were in the end zone. TE Rob Gronkowski and WR Chris Hogan had their best game of the season, both catching for more than 100 yards. The Patriot defense looked very impressive today by only allowing 13 points against the Browns and forcing a fumble and an interception.

The weekend starts here! The New England Patriots will play the Houston Texans in Gillette Stadium at 8:25 pm. With both Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo out, third string quarterback Jacoby Brissett will get the start. TE Rob Gronkowski has been out since the start of the season with a hamstring injury, but plans to start today. The talk of the week, however, is that WR Julian Edelman will be the back-up quarterback. Edelman was a quarterback at Kent State and all Patriot fans remember his incredible TD pass to Danny Amendola vs the Ravens a few years back.
