The Celebrate Milford Committee has been actively monitoring the weather forecast for the past several days and has been in regular contact with the Town of Milford’s Parks Departments. Mother nature doesn’t appear to be on our side this Saturday.
After much deliberation, it is with great regret that we POSTPONE Celebrate Milford from Saturday, May 19th to Sunday May 20th, which was our published rain date.
The Youth Parade set to begin at 10:00 am is CANCELLED
The event will now run from noon to 8:00 pm
Vendors may begin their setup at 9:00 am
Finally, please check our website and your email the evening of Saturday, May 19th in the event that the forecast changes further and the Town does not permit us to hold the event on Sunday. In that case, the Celebrate Milford Committee will work towards an alternative event sometime in the fall.
There are hundreds of items and actions that the Celebrate Milford Committee must do in order to put on this wildly successful event … controlling the weather just isn’t one of them. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.
