Teachers can't teach if they're busy disciplining students. Parents can help teachers make the most of learning time by reinforcing school rules. That includes talking about them and enforcing the same rules at home.
What is it that teachers need students to do most? Here are some basic rules that will keep your teen out of trouble in the classroom:

~Show respect for possessions of others.
~Keep hands, feet and other objects to himself.
~Use acceptable language.
~Follow directions.
~Don't prevent the teacher from teaching, or other students from learning.
