Dr. Charles F. Bobeck, 82

Dr. Charles F. Bobeck, 82, died Thursday, February 17, 2011 in Northbridge. He was the husband of Marion (Lockhart), who died January 22, 2011. Born in Clinton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Czulak) Bobeck.

He was a graduate of Clinton High School, Clark University and Tufts Dental School of Boston. He was a dentist in Hopkinton for over 25 years. He was a long-time and well-known member of the BAA Marathon Committee. He also served for many years as Hopkinton's Board of Health Chairman and was a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran.

He is survived by his daughters Heidi Bobeck of Worcester and Heather Munroe and her husband Adam of Milford, his grandchildren Aidan, John, Megan and Richard; his brother Robert and his wife Gloria of Framingham and his sisters Nancy Williams and her husband Jack of Ohio, Judith Innamorati and her husband Albert of Vermont and Mildred Alzapiedi of Sterling. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Sangenario.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 23, at 11:00 a.m. at the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home34 Church Street, Hopkinton. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, February 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will be Thursday, February 24 at 11:45 a.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton.
