Enter Stage Left Theater has announced performances of A USO Christmas, a tribute show that pays homage to the USO shows of the 1940s. Performances take place December 5-7 at the Hopkinton High School Auditorium at 90 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, MA. The show features Big Band classics, Christmas favorites, patriotic tunes and energetic dances, all inspired by the era’s greatest names in entertainment.

Conceived and directed by Paul Champlin, A USO Christmas takes the audience back to 1944 Britain. The cast will impersonate prolific performers of the day, with “appearances” by Bob Hope, the Andrews Sisters, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Big Crosby, Gene Kelly and many more. The Point ‘n’ Swing Big Band provides a rich accompaniment to the songs and dances, and the Children’s Ensemble will delight with carols and a performance/reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas."

The spirit of the production is rooted in a desire to honor veterans and enlisted military personnel for their service. Veterans and enlisted personnel attending performances will receive a discounted ticket rate, and will also be honored during the shows through a special ceremonial acknowledgement. Additionally, Enter Stage Left Theater will be making a donation to USO.org in order to contribute to the work they continue to do to support American service personnel around the world.

Tickets for A USO Christmas are $20 for adults, $15 for students and seniors and $10 for veterans and enlisted personnel. Tickets can be purchased online or reserved by calling 508-435-2114.
