Fall Prevention Awareness Day - Hopkinton clinic Sept. 22 at Senior Center

Have you fallen this year? Do you worry that you could fall in your home? Are you concerned that your aging parents are at risk of falling and not quite sure how to address it?

National Falls Prevention Awareness day is Sept 22, 2021. This is a nationwide effort to raise awareness that falls are preventable.The Hopkinton Fire and Health Departments are proud to offer a fall prevention clinic on Sept. 22 from 12-4 at the Hopkinton Senior Center, located at 28 Mayhew St.

We will be providing free fall risk assessments, with education and suggestions made by podiatrists, physical therapists, pharmacists, and nurses. Come along with your parent(s), get involved and learn their fall potential and be a part of reducing their fall and injury risk.
