It's been said that it is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.
Even better is to attend this weekend's free, Stage Lighting Technology Workshop presented by The MetroWest Theater Artists Guild.
We'll introduce you to all the lighting tech that you're likely to use when working with local community theater groups.
Specifically, you will learn:
The different types of lighting fixtures;
Which types of fixtures are best for which purposes;
The features and controls of each type of fixture;
How different lighting control systems vary;
How to breathe fire like a dragon.*
Plus, we’ll cover light boards, dimmers, DMX, basic two-scene preset controllers, specialized lighting control software, and more!
