The Martin Luther King Day of Giving Back starts at 9AM at the Hopkinton Middle School on Monday, January 17th. Stop by for breakfast, listen to speaker Sarah Varadian, participate in a service project and give back to your community.

Sponsored by the Hopkinton Youth Commission, the MLK Day of Giving Back offers an opportunity for middle and high school students, their families and adults in the community to join together and participate in a variety of service projects.

Service projects include making blankets, knit hats and friendship bracelets for the homeless, writing letters to soldiers, assembling care packages for cancer patients and assembling and decorating Bags of Hope for residents of Serenity House and many more. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in the community day of service. Sixth grade students and younger require adult supervision.
