After defeating Medway in their last meeting back on Jan 13th 57-27, the Hillers found themselves trailing on the road 23-4 with under a minute left in the 1st quarter during their 2nd game against Medway this season. The Hillers finished out the quarter trailing Medway 23-6 and dominated the 2nd and 3rd quarter to earn the 53-49 victory and improve to 15-2 (15-1) while Medway fell to 11-6 (11-6).

Ivy Gogolin (JR) was the only one to hit a field goal in the 1st quarter for Hopkinton. Ivy Gogolin struck for another 6 points in the 2nd while Mikayla Pucci (SR) put up 7 points to help the Hillers outscore Medway in the quarter 15-4. Medway led at the half 27-21.

The Mustangs lead quickly disappeared in the 3rd quarter. After struggling in the 1st half, Julia Canestrari hit for 9 points in the 3rd quarter and helped Hopkinton outscore Medway 20-10. Hopkinton grabbed their first lead of the game with 2:36 left in the 3rd after Canestrari hit a layup to make it 37-36 Hillers. The quarter would end with the Hillers leading 41-37.

Medway kept pace with the Hillers in the 4th quarter and got within 2 points on a couple of occasions but the Hillers did just enough to maintain their lead as both teams put up 12 a piece during the quarter. Hopkinton took the 53-49 win over Medway and grabbed their 12th straight victory. Last time Hopkinton lost was on December 28th in a non-league matchup against Coyle & Cassidy.
