Businesses and organizations in Hopkinton have come together once again to present the Hopkinton Holiday Stroll in downtown Hopkinton on December 6, 2014 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. The Holiday Stroll includes myriad events and activities, including charitable drives, the annual Tree Lighting ceremony, traveling carol singers, a visit from Santa, music and theater performances, food tastings, specialty sales and family activities.

This year’s Holiday Stroll has built upon the success and positive reception of last year’s event, and the planning committee has focused on adding many new activities to this year’s lineup. New additions include food and product vendors and live music on the Hopkinton Common, stations to write letters to Santa and to enlisted military personnel, performances and story readings at various venues, and family activities and sales at the Masonic Lodge, amongst others.

The Holiday Stroll sponsors and activity hosts include Ann Michelles Hair Salon, Bees Knees, Bills Pizza, Bittersweet, Colellas, Country Plus, Enter Stage Left Theater, Hopkinton Boy & Girl Scouts, Hopkinton Center for the Arts, Hopkinton Drug, Hopkinton Jewelers, Hopkinton Lions Club, Hopkinton Parks and Rec, Hopkinton Public Library, HPTA, Hopkinton 300th Committee, St. Johns Church & Let's Sing! DANCE! Act!, Pan Thai, Stephanie G Jewelers, Swoon, Vinny’s Pizza and Weston Nurseries.

While each sponsor is presenting a special sale, in-house treat, activity and/or event for the public, and all businesses and organizations in town are invited to host their own activities or sales to spread the bounds of the event even further. “We hope to see as many businesses as possible joining in the festivities and opening their doors to strollers looking to celebrate the Hopkinton community and its unique blend of culture and commerce,” said Kelly Grill, HCA Executive Director and Holiday Stroll committee member.
