The Hopkinton CC Charitable Foundation (HCCCF) announced that before the end of
2021 they will have granted over $1,000,000 since their inception in 2010. “The HCCCF is extremely proud
to reach this tremendous milestone and to have been able to help those in our communities that may not have
been able to help themselves. We are thankful to our generous sponsors and donors without whose support
this would not be possible.” stated Fred Wahlers, President of the Hopkinton CC Charitable Foundation.

In addition, Children Across America in Milford, MA will be the 2021 Spotlight Grantee for the 12th Annual
HCCCF Evening Gala to be held Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Hopkinton Country Club. The mission of
Children Across America is to give every child the literacy tools they need when leaving elementary
school, as students who are not reading proficiently at the end of the third grade are at risk of becoming one of
the 1.2 million students in the United States that do not graduate from high school every year. Children
Across America offers free programs for underserved children to develop literacy and mathematics skills in
elementary school students as well as in summer camps. Additionally, they are a partner vendor with the state
of Massachusetts Health Insurance. Says Wahlers, “Children Across America, under the leadership of Ray
Fellows, does amazing work and the HCCCF is privileged to support their cause.”

The November 20th Evening Gala will feature food, drink and live music by Never in Vegas, with a
speakeasy styled “The Roaring 20’s” theme. The public is welcome, and doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are
available for $150 and include gourmet dinner stations. Visit www.hopkintoncccf.org to purchase tickets and
get information on becoming a family or corporate sponsor. For those who are unable to attend, please
consider making a donation of any amount.

About Hopkinton CC Charitable Foundation

In 2010 HCCCF was born from an idea generated by the owners and management of Hopkinton Country
Club, along with some of the members, with a simple concept: could a core group be created that could raise
funds to support causes close to home in MetroWest. Our mission was defined around supporting youth and
families with the greatest needs in MetroWest communities and more specifically, two main philanthropic
programs: Youth Development and Economic Assistance. Since its inception in 2010, the Hopkinton CC
Charitable Foundation has distributed nearly $1,000,000 to the community to over 40 non-profits who serve
the most marginalized youth and families. We rely on the generosity of our corporate sponsors like Amica
Insurance, Oracle, and others, as well as dozens of family sponsors who make our philanthropy possible.
