Two Hopkinton students, Helen Gao of Hopkinton High School and Zachary Ritterbusch of Hopkins School, earned distinction in the National Finals for the PTA Reflections Competition.

Helen Gao, earned an Award of Excellence in the category of Visual Arts and Zachary Ritterbusch received an Award of Merit in the category of Film Production.

The National level of competition recognizes the top students in the country delivering creatively across this years’ theme of “Together We Can.” These students competed against the top performers in every state within their category. Nationals is the highest distinction for program.

This marks the first year that Hopkinton has had a winner at the national level. It is a wonderful accomplishment for both Helen and Zachary.

Congratulations to both our national winners to a well deserved achievement.
