The Town of Hopkinton is encouraging all residents who are interested in participating in the planning efforts for the recently acquired IrvineTodaro parcel on Hayden Rowe to submit their applications now.
At the 2015 Annual Town Meeting, the town strategically purchased two parcels on Hayden Rowe, commonly known at the Irvine parcel and the Todaro parcel; the former primarily being used for a new elementary school approved at Special Town Meeting in October of this year. Last week, the Board of Selectmen redrafted the town committee charge to assist in the master planning process for these important strategic initiatives and seek interested volunteers to serve on the committee. In an effort to diversify the candidate pool from around the entire Town, the Board of Selectmen have reposted this committee volunteer opportunity.
