Jeannine “Penny” Prepetit, 53, of Hopkinton, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Mass General Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. Born in Saugus, she was the daughter of Clifford Smith of Lunenburg and Jeannine (Vienneau) Smith of Hopkinton. She was the wife of Michael Prepetit of Hopkinton.
Besides her husband of 29 years, she is survived by her son, Ryan Prepetit of Hopkinton, her siblings, Donna Woody and her husband Don of Hopkinton, Mark Smith and his wife Maureen of Sutton, and Clifford Smith Jr. of Washington State. She also leaves behind her nephew Clifford Woody and his wife Elizabeth, a niece, Lauren Woody and her fiance Brendan Smith, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeannine was a great hugger and her husband Michael and son Ryan were the center of her life.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 from 6-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St.
A service will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday, July 19th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Hopkinton.
