Levi is a 5 year 7 month old male mixed breed, small (under 24 lbs fully grown) / mix currently in foster.

Levi is a funny little well-mannered gent who is surprisingly quiet. He loves to look out the window and watch the world go by, but he rarely barks at what he sees!

This little charmer enjoys neighborhood walks, cuddling under the covers, car rides, and of course modeling his snazzy winter jacket. An adventurer at heart, Levi is very interested in all the sights, sounds, and smells of the outdoors.

He also loves sitting in on his foster mom’s book club and charming all her friends, though he’s no party animal. If lots of people come over, he’s happiest to retreat to his safe space and chill out. He a well-behaved boy who’s house trained and doesn’t chew on things or beg for food. When his foster mom says “it’s time for bed,” he heads right to his crate for a good night’s sleep.

Levi hasn’t spent a lot of time with other dogs, so is just starting to learn about how to play with them. He's a bit socially awkward and it's endearing to see him run out and try to figure out what the other dogs are up to. It took him a bit of time to get comfortable in his foster home, so he needs someone kind and patient who'll understand that he needs some time to get used to the new sights and sounds of his home. Once he settles in, he's happy as a clam!

He has a heart condition, which is managed with daily medication. Levi will do well in a home with another calm dog or as a solo dog, though not with cats, as he’s a bit too intrigued by them. He’s living in a temporary foster home until we find him his forever home, so please contact us at adopt@baypathhumane.org to learn more about him.
