Roll Patriots!

The New England Patriots faced off against the Miami Dolphins in a divisional matchup on Sunday. The Patriots handily defeated the Dolphins 35-17. Like always, Tom Brady again had a great game. Although he was sacked multiple times and did throw an interception, he ended the day going 18/28 with 227 yards and 4 touchdowns. Brady was able to convert several key third down possessions during the game allowed to Patriots to rack up the scoreboard. Two of his touchdowns were thrown to TE Rob Gronkowski who has had a great comeback year. The other two touchdowns were thrown to RB Rex Burkhead who has turned out to be a key addition to the offense. He has played very well on both special and as the #3 running back for the Patriots. However, the player of the game must go out to RB Dion Lewis. Lewis rushed for 112 yards on just 15 carries and gave the Patriots the much needed confidence to maintain their lead in the first half. Equally deserving was the Patriot defense. They were able to sack QB Matt Moore 5 times during the game and made very uncomfortable in the pocket. They only allowed a touchdown and were able to intercept the ball twice in the game. Overall, there are definitely things to improve but it is a great win at home. The Patriots have won 7 straight to improve to 9-2 on the season and are currently in first place in the AFC. Next up is a showdown against the Buffalo Bills at 1pm on Sunday. Until then, have a great week and enjoy the beginning of the Holiday Season!
