Scordino for School Committee

By contributor,

Editor,

In 2012 the Boston Business Journal awarded Ellen Scordino one of its 40 under 40 nominations. This prestigious award recognizes Boston's best and brightest young professionals who are achievers, innovators and leaders in their fields. These are all assets that would be valuable to our School Committee.

Ellen has stepped up and is asking for our votes on May 20th. Hopkinton has a unique opportunity here to benefit from all that Ellen has to offer. We have had the pleasure of knowing Ellen for the past 3 years. She is a dedicated mother of 2 young children and has a vested interest in ensuring the high quality of our schools. For many of us, this was the reason we moved to Hopkinton. Ellen has also stated that she is committed to providing accountability and fiscal responsibility while servicing the needs of our schools and the community at large.

Ellen's fresh perspective and her professional negotiation and critical reasoning skills will have a positive impact on our School Committee. We are excited about the possibilities that Ellen's election to the School Committee will bring.

Please join us in voting for Ellen Scordino for the Hopkinton School Committee on May 20th.
