Stephen M. Hayes, 57, died unexpectedly February 27, 2020 at his home. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Edward and Geraldine (Pucci) Hayes. He was raised in Hopkinton.
Stephen worked as a carpenter with several local construction firms. Steve loved to fish whenever he was able. While at home, Steve was creative in the kitchen and was a great cook. Steve was a loyal fan to all of his Boston sports teams, as well as The Three Stooges. Most of all, Steve loved the company of his close friends, many who stayed by his side from his youth to his final days.
Steve is survived by his brothers, Edward Mark Hayes III of Franklin and Christopher Hayes of Whitinsville, and his sister Alyson Hayes of Boston. Steve had five nephews of whom he was very proud, Marcus, Dylan, Brandon, Zachary and Nikolas.
Stephen will be laid to rest with his father at Calvary Cemetery in Greenfield, MA. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for friends and family to share stories and memories of Stephen's 57 years of life.
