Video: Hopkinton Hillers Sports Update 9-21-2018

-Ladies and Gentlemen, Hopkinton Middle School has a Football team and they took on Martha's Vineyard on Wednesday September 12th in their 1st ever game. Despite it being their 1st game, the team looked very impressive. 7th Grade Quarterback Isaiah Kuruvilla led the way rushing for two touchdowns and throwing for one in the Hillers 22 to 6 victory.

-Hopkinton Hillers Varsity hosted Needham in their 2nd game of the season, Needham maintained control the whole way through and until late in the 4th quarter had a 28-0 lead. The Hillers found the end-zone late in the game and fell to the Needham Rockets 28-7. Hillers will be on the road versus Norwood for a Saturday (9/22) afternoon game at 1pm.

-Congratulations to the boys’ soccer on their 6-0 win in Millis yesterday. Sam Vasington scored three goals in the first 8 minutes of the game. Other goal scorers included Peter DeMichele, Eric Toujzian and Dylan Michaud. The entire team played well. The boys next game is Tuesday at Mendon-Upton.

-MS field hockey lost a tough one at Ashland yesterday, but made some critical adjustments and were in the game the 2nd half...come support the team AT HOME today - Field 10 with a 3:45 start.. Go Hillers!
