Video: Mass Dept. of Transportation Hosts Public Hearing Regarding Downtown Corridor Project

On Tuesday January 9th at the Hopkinton Senior Center, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) hosted a public hearing regarding the Downtown Corridor project. At the hearing, representatives from MassDot explained the project and took feedback from the public. View the full public hearing and news segment below.

"The proposed project will consist of full depth roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, the implementation of separated bicycle lanes, new sidewalk construction, the re-alignment of Grove Street, and overall enhanced bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. Other items will include new traffic signal systems, minor drainage system adjustments, overhead utility relocations, landscaping and pavement delineation/striping for vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians traveling through the Main Street (Downtown) corridor."
