Foundation for MetroWest Supports Arts Programming in Hopkinton

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) is pleased to announce it is the recipient of a $7,000 grant from the Foundation for MetroWest (FFMW). The grant will support the administration of the HCA’s growing music program, which offers private and group lessons and classes for students of all ages and levels of ability.

Arts Center Painting the Town to Build New Facility: HCA Aiming for $20,000 Goal Before Year’s End

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) has nearly reached a $20,000 goal for its Paint the Town fundraiser in support of the HCA’s capital campaign and building project. The Paint the Town fundraiser runs through December 31, 2014, and all donations will directly support the realization of a regional arts center on the historic property at 98 Hayden Rowe Street, Hopkinton.

Town of Hopkinton Encourages All Interested Citizens to Apply Now to Volunteer

The Town of Hopkinton is encouraging all residents who are interested in helping govern Hopkinton to apply now for volunteer positions. If you have been curious or interested in giving your time, expertise or perspective on behalf of your community, now is an excellent time to get involved!

Barbara J. Comeau, 56

Barbara J. Comeau, 56, of Hopkinton, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014. Born in Canada, she was the daughter of Janet Louise Douglass and the late Richard Nelson Clark.

Barbara was a graduate of Atlantic Business College and had worked at Collella's in Hopkinton. She enjoyed knitting, baking, and was involved in the Michael Lisnow Respite Center and participated in Michael's Run.
