Blackstone Valley Wealth Management is pleased to announce that Dylan Weinert-Morrow is the winner of our 2018 Hopkinton High School scholarship! Dylan is planning to attend the University of UMASS Amherst to study Psychology / Neuroscience. The $1,000 scholarship was created to support a local Hopkinton High School senior pursuing higher education this fall, who demonstrates an eagerness to learn and succeed.

On Thursday May 3rd, the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce hosted a breakfast to thank Hopkinton's First Responders. The event included Hopkinton Police, Fire and DPW Staff. Guest Speakers included: Representative Carolyn Dykema, Board of Selectmen Chair, John Coutinho, Town Manager, Norman Khumalo and Boston Athletic Association CEO, Thomas Grilk and more. On Monday Night, the Hopkinton Board of Health hosted two Public Hearings. The first public hearing was "to consider adoption of a reduction in Single-Use plastic check out bags." The regulation bans single-use plastic check-out bags at any retail or grocery store within the town of Hopkinton. After no protest at the Public Hearing, the Board of Health voted unanimously to pass the regulation. The Board of Health will be the enforcing authority to ensure that all retail and grocery store businesses within Hopkinton comply with the regulation.

The Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce is very excited to welcome new Chamber members, and new business to town, Real Living Realty Group! We will be preforming a ribbon cutting at their grand opening on Wednesday, April 25th from 4pm-7pm. The event is being put on by Weston Nurseries, Start Line Brewing, and Marty's Fine Wines and we will have a Chamber Booth set up for the duration of the event, so drop by and visit us!

In the morning there will be music, coffee, breakfast trucks, and pastries.

The event will take place 7am - 4pm and feature food vendors, entertainment for all ages and musical acts.
