Join Hopkinton Cub Scouts

Do you have a son in grades 1-5 and are interested in learning more about the benefits of Cub Scouts? Packs 4, 26 and 97 will be hosting a Cub Scout Information Night on Wednesday, October 8th from 7:00-8:30 PM at St. John’s Parish Hall. Representatives from all three Packs will give an overview of scouting in Hopkinton as well as answer any questions you may have.

Hiller Volleyball “DIG PINK” Match Wednesday

The Hopkinton Hiller Volleyball teams will host a DIG PINK match at the

Hopkinton High School Athletic Center on Wednesday, October 1st, to

raise awareness of the importance of early detection in the fight against

breast cancer.

The Hillers will be facing the Algonquin Tomahawks on this special

night. The fun begins at 5:30 with the JV match at the High School

Athletic Center and the Freshman match at the Hopkinton Middle

School Brown Gym.

The Varsity match will start at approximately 6:30pm at the Athletic

Center.

Juried Show Exhibits Work By Twenty-Three Regional Artists

(HOPKINTON, Mass. – September 29, 2014) – The Hopkinton Center for the Arts has announced its upcoming Photography Show, featuring artwork by artists from Eastern and Central Massachusetts. Juried by artist and professor Chehalis Hegner, the show runs September 30-October 30, 2014 and kicks off with a public opening reception and prize ceremony on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Arts Center Plans to Paint the Town of Hopkinton

(September 26, 2014 – Hopkinton, MA) – The Hopkinton Center for the Arts has announced the return of its annual Paint the Town campaign, a fundraising effort that supports a capital campaign to realize a regional visual and performing arts center in Hopkinton, MA. The Paint the Town campaign runs October 1-December 31, 2014, and all tax-deductible donations directly influence the completion of a renovated and expanded arts center at the historic 98 Hayden Rowe Street property.

Seventh Annual Haunted Trail Walk

The Hopkinton 4H Clubs are holding their Seventh Annual Haunted Trail Walk on Friday October 24 and Saturday October 25 from 5:30-8:30 PM at 25 Winter Street in Hopkinton, a fundraiser sponsored by the Woodville Trailbusters. Scenes on the walk include Snakes R Us, the Little Shoppe of Horrors flower shop, a Ghostbusters Trailer and an experimental vegetable garden. Snow White, the Seven Dwarfs and the wicked witch will be making an appearance as well.
