The Hillers offense rallied in the first inning for 10 runs overall. Hopkinton put up 3 more runs in the 3rd and 7 more in the 4th. The Hillers took the mercy win over Medfield 20-2. 5/10/16 - The HMS baseball team improved its record yesterday with a 13-8 victory in Ashland. Nate Bertucci-Bissonette pitched a one-hitter through 5 innings. The team stole 14 bases in the game.
5/11/16 - The HMS baseball team lost to a very strong Nipmuc team 11-9 yesterday. Leading the way for the Hillers offensively was Jack Wehle (3 hits), Tommy Ambrosone (2 hits) and Drew Saporoschetz (2 hits). The team's record now stands at 5-2. There is a home game today versus Medfield at 3:45 on Field 5.
The HMS baseball team improved its record to 4-0 with a win in Millis last Thursday. Jack Wehle pitched well. Nike Skiba earned the victory in relief as the team battled back with a 5 run 6th inning to take the lead 8-5. Ben Michalewich had a key hit in the victory. The team plays games in each of the next four days.
On Wednesday April 27th, the Hopkinton Hillers softball team plated 5 runs in the first inning as they took down the Bellingham Blackhawks 12-2. Bri Mirabile had a nice start, striking out 13 hitters while giving up 2 runs on 3 hits.
Whenever the Ashland Clockers and Hopkinton Hillers meet up in just about any sport, it always seems to be an amazing game. On Monday April 25th it was no different, a great battle between 2 very good teams.
Fresh off a playoff season in 2015, the Hopkinton Hillers Boys Lacrosse team features some great senior leadership this year.
After losing the first 2 games of the season 3-0, the Hillers won their home opener against Holliston 3-0. The Hillers improved to 1 and 2 while Holliston fell to 0 and 3.
On Tuesday (April 12th), the Hopkinton Hillers Girls Lacrosse team improved to 1 and 2 on the season as they took down Holliston in their home opener 10-5. HCAM news caught up with Head Coach, Jodi Dolan after the victory.
