This is a reminder that HCA is accepting submissions for its nineteenth annual Arts in Bloom exhibition, juried by Claudia Fiks.

The Theme: Harmony of Opposites

Arts in Bloom is a competitive juried annual show open to all artists. Claudia will choose the artwork to be exhibited and select six outstanding works for awards. The six winning artists will receive cash prizes totaling over $1,000.

The Hopkinton Garden Club will again present six to eight garden installations inspired by the artwork. However, one exciting change that HCA is making this year is that the garden club artists will consider all of the work presented when making their selection, rather than just featuring the winners. It will keep the element of surprise fresh as we award the winning artists at the May 11th reception, since the blooms on display will not automatically be paired with the juror's awards.
