On February 8, 2013, the HCA will sponsor an artist’s workshop led by Kris Waldman, visual artist and artistic director of the HCA; and Catherine Weber, writer and visual artist. The workshop will bring together visual artists and writers to inspire each other to create new work. All artists – male and female - are invited to participate, regardless of the level of their artistic development. Our main goal is to have fun while exploring our creativity.

There is no charge for the workshop, but the HCA requires that participants in this workshop/art exhibit be Members. To become a
Member, go to www.hopartscenter.org/membership. Kindly RSVP by February 5 by calling Kris at 508.435.9222 or emailing
kris@hopartscenter.org, typing “workshop” in the subject line. Please let us know how many are attending and if you are visual artists or writers.

The Workshop Process
We encourage all participants to bring with them 1 - 2 pieces of their visual art or writing. These will be our springboards for creation and will be displayed in the gallery February 12 - 28, 2013. The pieces we create in the Workshop will be displayed March 8 - March 21, 2013. Please see below for specifics.
