Kenny is Seeking Forever Love

By contributor,

Kenny is a very sweet boy with a great personality! He loves going out for long walks and going exploring with his human pals. He's also quite the cuddler! He's enrolled in obedience classes and is a very smart cookie. He'll thrive in an active home with an experienced dog owner with adults only, or with older, respectful teens and should be a solo pet. This handsome four year old hound hasn't had it easy, but he's a delightful young dog who needs a second chance at happiness.

Back to School Wednesday

By contributor,

Dear Families and Faculty,

I drove around the school district today along with Mary Ann Fitzpatrick (Transportation Coordinator) and was impressed with the work that has taken place in the wake of the blizzard, followed by the latest storm. While we enjoy our winding country roads during fair weather, they do provide a significant challenge to maintain in winter. Our DPW should be applauded for the terrific job they have done throughout the past challenging weeks.

Help Your Student Study for Tests

By contributor,

Quizzes. AP exams. Driver’s license tests. High school students take a lot of tests. Here are some ways you can help your student study:
~Make sure your student knows the format of the test (multiple choice? essay?) and what will be covered. Your student should ask the teacher (and then write down) whether the test is only on Chapter 6 or whether it will also cover Chapter 7.
~Make sure your student has everything she needs before she starts to study. If she's studying for a math test, for example, she needs to be able to find her old homework sheets and quizzes.
