Donald F. Hart, Sr., 80
Donald F. Hart, Sr., 80, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, December 10, 2012. He was the loving and devoted husband of Patricia A. (DeCoff) Hart, to whom he was married for 60 years. Born in Natick, he was the son of the late Raymond and Esther (Doherty) Hart.
He attended Natick High School, served his country during the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion and Kiwanis Club. He was a master plumber and the proud owner of Hart’s Plumbing and Heating.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church invites the public to a special “Blue Christmas” Service on Friday, December 21, at 6:30 p.m. This service will include readings, music, candle lighting and silence and will focus on the hope and healing God offers to each one of us. Emergency Preparedness Presentation Now Online
The program,"Emergency Preparedness - the 3 Key Steps", sponsored by the Hopkinton Women's Club is now available for online viewing. The program features presentations by Hopkinton Fire Chief Ken Clark and Christopher Besse, Preparedness Coordinator at the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) that explains what to do in an emergency situation.

Department of Public Utilities Imposes $24.8 Million in Penalties for Utilities’ 2011 Storm Responses
Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Rick Sullivan today joined Department of Public Utilities (DPU) Chair Ann Berwick and DPU Commissioners to announce the findings of DPU’s investigation into the electric utilities’ responses to Tropical Storm Irene and the October 2011 snowstorm. The DPU ordered a total of $24.8 million in penalties, all of which will be returned to the utilities’ customers.
