This year marks the 13th annual Michael' Run, a special road race organized by The Michael Carter Lisnow Respite Center. This year the event is being sponsored by the Linda Thode Memorial Fund, a fund established in memory of Respite Center Founder Sharon Lisnow's sister, who passed away from a brain tumor eighteen months ago.
Registration starts at 10:00 AM, and the race starts at 12:00 noon. Awards are given out for the top three males and top three females in these categories: 6 and under, 7-13, 14-19, 20-30, 21-40, 41-50, 51-60, and 60+.
"Everyone who has participated in this run before understands that it is not your average road race," said Sharon Lisnow. " As Michael taught us, winning is not the goal, finishing to the best of your ability is."
The staff at the Respite Center hopes that you will join them on this memorable fall day.
