Video: Hank Phillippi Ryan spoke at Hopkinton Public Library

Investigative Reporter for Channel 7 WHDH and Agatha award winning mystery author Hank Phillippi Ryan spoke about her book "Truth Be Told" at the Hopkinton Public Library. "Truth be Told" is an Agatha award Winner for Best Contemporary Novel. Ryan started as a political reporter in 1975 in her hometown Indianapolis. She joined WHDH-TV in 1983 as a general assignment reporter and was named principal reporter for the station's investigative unit in 1989. Ryan has won 28 Emmy Awards and 12 Edward R. Murrow Awards for her investigative and consumer reporting.

Her first published novel, "Prime Time" won the Agatha Award for best first novel in 2007. Other notable book writing awards Ryan has won include; Agatha award in 2009, Anthony award in 2010, Macavity award in 2010 and the Mary Higgins Clark award in 2013.
