Recognize Town’s Unique Marathon Connection through Art and Events

Hopkinton, MA, March 26, 2024 – The 26.2 Foundation and the Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) have joined forces to spotlight the town of Hopkinton’s centennial celebration as the start of the world’s oldest, continuous marathon. April 15th marks the 100th time that this famous race has started in town; prior to 1924, the starting line was located in the neighboring town of Ashland.

Rick MacPherson, CEO, and Peter Waisgerber, CDO, of the Metrowest Y discussed progress towards a new Y on the Hopkinton/Ashland line at the Hopkinton Women's Club monthly meeting.

This interactive learning experience is for you! In collaboration with Hopkinton Nursing Department and Hopkinton Women's Club, we are excited for you to participate in this free, 2 hour workshop where we are bringing awareness to maternal health and discussing all the ways to support mothers in every phase of their journey!

The Hopkinton High School Muslim Student association teamed up with South Asian Circle of Hopkinton to host “Iftar Night” at HHS.

HCA classes and workshops are always being added throughout the year, and we want to take this opportunity to shine a spotlight on some upcoming ones!

HCA has programs in music, theater, dance, visual arts, and ceramics for ages 4–adult.
