Hillers Girls Erase 19 Point Deficit and Defeat Medway

After defeating Medway in their last meeting back on Jan 13th 57-27, the Hillers found themselves trailing on the road 23-4 with under a minute left in the 1st quarter during their 2nd game against Medway this season. The Hillers finished out the quarter trailing Medway 23-6 and dominated the 2nd and 3rd quarter to earn the 53-49 victory and improve to 15-2 (15-1) while Medway fell to 11-6 (11-6).

Hopkinton Hillers Hockey celebrated Senior Night prior to an 11-2 dominate win over Bellingham Saturday Night (2/4). After a Monday victory, the Hillers Hockey team is at the top of the TVL with 14 wins, 0 losses and a tie. Seniors this year include: Spencer Abbott, Tim Bloomer, Spencer Coveney, Nick Horgan, Tim McGrath, Will Pickens, Zack Rogers, Everett Rolph, Nick Temple and JH Vokey. -On Tuesday January 24th. Hillers Girls basketball took on Dover-Sherborn with a chance to get their 10th win and officially seal up a playoff spot. The Hillers Girls had no problem accomplishing that mission as they took the game 57-17. In the victory, Senior Mikayla Pucci had 12 points and 8 rebounds while Senior Julia Canestrari dropped 11 points.

-On Wednesday January 18th, Hillers hockey looked to continue their winning ways against Ashland. Hillers got the 7-0 win against Ashland. Will Abbott scored 2 goals and had 2 assists, Owen Delaney knocked in a goal and had 2 assists and Tim McGrath had a nice day in net, earning the shutout. Hillers Boys Hockey improved to 8 wins 0 losses and 1 tie with the shutout victory.

Hillers Sports Update 1-24-2017

-On Friday January 20th, Hillers Girls and Boys Basketball got home wins in a doubleheader against Ashland. Junior Ivy Gogolin had a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds, Mikayla Pucci contributed with 11 points as the Hillers Girls improved to 9 and 2 overall. Ashland fell to 3-9.

The Hillers Boys improved to 4 and 7 on the season with a 66-49 victory over Ashland. Kyle Rector (SR) led the team with 15 points and dominated the baseline pulling down 11 rebounds, Austin Odell (SR) added 14 points for the Hillers. Ashland fell to 2-9 overall.

Hillers Sports Update 1-4-2017

- Hillers Boys Varsity Basketball squared off with Holliston in the HHS Athletic Center. Holliston (5-0) defeated Hopkinton (2-4) 53-42. Austin Odell led the Hillers with 11 points.

- Hillers Girls Basketball captured a road win versus Holliston 70-36. Mikayla Pucci, Ivy Gogolin and Julia Canestrari all posted double-doubles in the victory. The Hillers Girls are now 4-2 on the season while Holliston is 1-5.

-Hillers picked up at 95-88 co-ed swimming victory over Holliston/Medway. Boys & Girls Hillers Swimming is now 7-0 on the season.
