Fatima Day at the Shrine in Holliston

On Saturday June 13th, the Xaverian Missionaries will hold the traditional Fatima Day celebration in honor of Our Lady. It is going to be our second Fatima Day 2015. This year’s theme is on Our Blessed Mother Mary in the writings of St. Guido M. Conforti, founder of the Xaverian Missionaries. Sing-along at 6:30 PM. Mass at 7:00 PM. At 8:00 PM, Rosary and Candlelight procession followed by refreshments served in the Shrine’s Hall. The main celebrant and homilist will be Fr. Francis Signorelli, sx. Fr. Francis served for many years in the Amazon region of Northern Brazil.

Amy Gale Nauman, 26

Amy Gale Nauman, 26, of Hopkinton, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Concord, she was the daughter of Lauren (Beach) and Paul Nauman.

Amy was a photographer and a 3-D designer for computer games.

Besides her parents, she leaves behind her brother, Josiah P. Nauman and her sister, Hannah G. Nauman both of Hopkinton.

Hillers Blanked Lancers

Girls Varsity Tennis blanked Norton 5-0 this afternoon. The Hillers end the regular season at 17-1 overall and 13-1 in the TVL, and await the tournament seedings the first week of June.

The 3 seniors all started the match today (Senior Day). Senior Olivia Anderson took #1 Singles 6-1, 6-0. Senior Sydney Emerson paired up with Olivia Centrella at #1 Doubles and won 6-0, 6-0. Senior Carola Segale played with Emma Litavis at #2 Doubles and bested their opponents 6-2, 6-2.

Suspicious Activity Alert

Several police departments in the central Massachusetts area have been experiencing reports of men acting suspiciously around children. These incidents have many similarities including the general description of the suspect. The suspect has been described as an older man with light or grey hair operating a grey car.
