Hopkinton Public Schools Strategic Plan Public Forum

Please join the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent as they present the final draft of the 2014-2020 Hopkinton Public Schools Strategic Plan. The School Committee wanted to provide the community with the opportunity for final comments prior to voting the plan at their September 18th meeting.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 10th from 7:00-8:30 PM at HCAM Studio, 77 Main Street.

HCAM Studio is located in the basement (accessed through the elevator) at 77 Main Street beside the Fire Station.

Hiller Scores for Tuesday

On Monday, the Hiller Field Hockey team loss to The Blue Raiders in Hopedale 5-2, Hiller Frosh Maggie Dolan scored both of Hopkinton's goals. The Hillers go to Holliston on Wednesday to play the Panthers at 330pm.

Today at the High School Athletic Fields, Soccer hosted Dover-Sherborn. The Hiller Girls team tied The Raiders 1-1, with Rachel Calkins tallying the Hiller goal. The Boys Soccer team loss 1-0. Both teams play Medfield on Wednesday with the Boys Hosting the Warriors at 330pm and the Girls busing it to Medfield for 530pm.

The following roads will be closed on Thursday September 11th for final paving. Please seek alternate routes. School buses will be allowed through the work zone.

Teresa Rd – From Hayden Rowe St to Nicholas Rd will be closed from 7am-11am.
Fruit St – From Cunningham St to 625’ North of Victory Ln will be closed from 11am-4pm.

Hopkinton Center for the Arts to Offer Education Programs, Center Sees Marked Growth in Curriculum and Selections

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts has announced open enrollment for its fall arts education programs, which include offerings in art, dance, film, music and theater for ages 3-adult. Classes begin the week of September 15, 2014 and take place at the historic farmhouse located at 98 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton.
