Arts in Bloom Gallery Opening Reception

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts' Arts in Bloom exhibit and opening reception will take place on Friday, May 2 from 6:30-8:00 PM at the HCA building, 98 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton. Artists will be present and prizes will be announced. Floral arrangements created by Hopkinton Garden Club will be on display. Middlesex Savings Bank Commits $75,000 for Library

April 29, 2014, Hopkinton, Mass. – Middlesex Savings Bank has pledged to give $75,000 toward the renovation and expansion of Hopkinton Public Library. Upon successful votes to fundthe new library at the May 5 Annual Town Meeting and May 19 Town Election, Middlesex Savings Bank will make a charitable gift of $75,000 (over 3 years) to the Hopkinton Public Library Foundation in support of the restoration, renovation and expansion of Hopkinton Public Library.

Hillers Girls Tennis 1st to qualify for Post Season

At the halfway mark in the regular season, the Girls Varsity Tennis team is the first of the spring sports teams to qualify for the state tournament. Their record is now 9-0 overall and 7-0 in the Tri Valley League after their latest victory on Tuesday. The Lady Hillers swept Medway winning at all 5 positions. in singles action, #1 Olivia Anderson, #2 Vanessa Prathab, and #3 Devon LaMachia won easily in straight sets. The doubles teams of Ameera Hammouda & Katie Schneider and Sydney Emerson & Laney Emerson recorded strong victories to cap off the shutout.

Hopkinton Hillers beat Medway in 11 innings 3-2

The Hopkinton Hillers Baseball team improved to 5 and 3 as they took down the Medway Mustangs 3-2. It took 11 innings on an extremely cold, windy afternoon Tuesday but the Hillers got the job done.

Junior Evan Park started for Hopkinton and had a solid outing pitching 6 innings giving up 2 runs on 5 hits and had 6 strikeouts. Andrew McMillan slid over from SS to pitch the remaining 5 innings and kept Medway scoreless while striking out 7.

I am writing in support of Frank Sivo and Kelly Knight as candidates for Hopkinton School Committee.

They are both successful professionals whom I've known for a couple of years. They are deeply involved in working to to make our community a better place to live and raise a family. They might come at situations from different perspectives but both have the experience and capacity to learn and adjust to find the best innovative solutions.

HOPKINTON, MA. -- It’s been 40 years since JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR first hit the big screen, but the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical has morphed from a controversial Broadway show to a time-tested classic. Always one step ahead in the drama scene, the Drama Club of Hopkinton Middle School will perform the beloved musical with a live orchestra May 2, 3 and 4 at the middle school auditorium, 88 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton.

My wife Eve and I have lived in Hopkinton for 20 years. We have four children in the public school system. I have been active in our community as a Little League baseball coach, an advocate of special education students, and a member of the Appropriation Committee.

My education includes degrees in engineering as well as an MBA. Professionally, I lead strategic planning processes and the continuous improvement program for large life sciences company.
